Training to Save Lives
Colorado Safety & Health Educators provides state of the art training backed by years of experience. We specialize in competence-based training. When you have completed one of our courses, you will not only have sat through the required hours, but will have actually learned from our style of training that blends context, theory and practical application that leads to competence. We have been teaching First Aid and CPR skills for over fifty years, self-defense and shooting skills for over forty years. Our students come from all walks of life. Some of our students just want to learn a new skill. Others are people needing certifications to obtain professional licenses, or professionals honing their skills. About Us.
Meet Our owner
David recently joined the OPS team and brings a diverse background
with him. He has been a United States Marine, police officer, firefighter/EMT,
police academy coordinator, and a college adjunct professor. David has served in many law enforcement capacities including patrol supervisor and training unit supervisor. David maintains current law enforcement status as a part-time reserve deputy and works part-time for a security company specializing in personal protection and robbery suppression teams. He currently is a junior high school teacher. David holds instructor certification in over twenty different topics including first aid/CPR, firearms, chemical agents, impact weapons,
and civilian self-defense.
